Minerals from Sankt Goarshausen

 

The location Sankt Goarshausen is located in the Westtaunus,
at the town Sankt Goarshausen, between Wiesbaden and Koblenz.

Geologically you find hydrothermale quartz veins
in Devonian slates and litharenites (in German called "Grauwacke").

For the collector of interest are the following minerals:

quartz, albite, apatite

Mineralogically important are big quartz-cluster, who are built as rock crystals 
with chlorite inclusions or as floaters.
