Minerals from the Kauber range of veins


The Kauber range of veins is located at the river Rhine, in the area of the
town Kaub, between Wiesbaden and Koblenz.

Mined were Devonian slates, specially for the roof slate production.

For the collector of interest are the following minerals::

chalcopyrite, calcite, quartz, apatite, pyrit

Particulary appealing are paragenisis specimens, where various
minerals occur.
