Minerals from the Emser range of veins

The Emser range of veins is located at the river Lahn, between
Lahnstein-Friedrichssegen and Bad Ems.

Mined were hydrothermale
ore veins, particularly galena and sphalerite.

The range of veins can be divided into the deposits
1. Friedrichssegen mine of the same name village Friedrichssegen
2. Bad Ems with the important mine like Pfingstwiese mine,
Neuhoffnungsstolln, Mercur mine, Fahnenberg mine or Bergmannstrost mine

For the collector of value are the following minerals:

sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite,
plumbogummitw, copper, silber, pyrite,
various Lead-Zinc-Copper-Secundary-Paragenisis

Mineralogically world-famous are the pyromorphites and cerussites.
