Minerals of Dr. Geier mine
 

The Dr. Geier mine can be found in the area of the villages
Weiler and Waldalgesheim, near Bingen at the river Rhine.

Mined were iron-manganese ores as well as dolomitee.

For the collector of attraction are the following minerals:

rhodochrosite, dolomite, epsomite

Mineralogical the location is known for
its variety of dolomite, epsomites, rhodochrosites,
who can be assigned to the
bests of Germany.
